Biography

Ms. Cunningham was a partner at SKDK, a leading national strategic communications firm that works with Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, philanthropic organizations, labor unions and political campaigns from 2008 until her departure from the firm in March 2020. Ms. Cunningham has more than 25 years of experience developing and executing strategic communications strategies for clients across the healthcare, education and public service sectors. Prior to joining SKDK, Ms. Cunningham was Political and Legislative Director for 1199 Service Employees International Union, the largest health care union in the Country, from 1998 to 2008. Ms. Cunningham also served in various capacities as an advisor to the New York State legislature and practiced law with at Paul Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. Ms. Cunningham is passionate about the environment and sustainability, and currently serves as an advisor to the Open Space Institute and Mohonk Preserve in New York.
